Welcome Luncheon: Setting the Agenda for Scholar Safety

A meet, eat, and greet including a discussion of scholar safety concerns in our troubled times. Open to the University of Michigan community.
Amplifying Access: Funding Solutions for Scholarship that Matters
September 21–22 | Ann Arbor
Designed for scholars at every stage of grant experience, Amplifying Access offers practical strategies for navigating an increasingly complex funding landscape. Participants can choose from three experience tracks and take part in workshops, consultation zones, proposal work time, a resource fair, conversations with experts, and networking opportunities. Registration is required.
History in a Time of Forgetting
Beginning September 24
This fall, Spark Magazine launches "History in a Time of Forgetting," a new series bringing scholarly perspectives to questions about history, memory, and the ways we understand the present.
The conversation will continue in October with a panel discussion on the same themes, co-sponsored by the Inclusive History Project.

Reimagining STEM Student Success: Redefining the STEM Ecosystem & Shifting the Paradigm

Reimagining STEM Student Success is a new speaker series connecting national research with U-M practice to examine how institutional systems, cultures, and structures shape STEM student success. The opening session will explore how STEM is defined, who it serves, and how higher education can move beyond isolated interventions toward broader organizational change.
Shaking the Table: Survival and Healing Amongst Identity Center Practitioners

Join the Bowman Scholars Network for a webinar examining the experiences of identity center practitioners and questions of survival, healing, and professional life within higher education.
Community Conversations
